About Golf Cart Clinic
Golf Cart Clinic is an independent website for people who own, maintain or are shopping for a golf cart in the United States. We publish troubleshooting guides by symptom, brand and model, battery and charging guides, upgrade advice, buying guides, state-by-state street-legal rules, and free tools like our serial number to year lookup.
Why this site exists
Golf cart information online is scattered across forum threads, parts-store pages and videos, and much of it doesn't say which cart, which year or which source it applies to. Our goal is to put the answer first, explain the checks in a sensible order, and show where each important fact comes from, so you can decide what to do yourself or know what to ask your dealer.
Who writes our guides
Guides are written and edited by the Golf Cart Clinic editorial team. We are not a manufacturer, dealer or repair shop, and we don't claim credentials we don't have. Instead of asking you to trust us, we:
- base technical steps on manufacturer manuals, service bulletins and published troubleshooting charts;
- base legal information on the statute itself and the state agency that enforces it, with links to both;
- say clearly when something depends on your model, your county or your city;
- never publish made-up test results, statistics or "expert" quotes;
- show when each guide was published and last updated, and correct mistakes when readers point them out.

How the site is funded
